From the worlds perspective, Iran is a global security threat. It is unknown how much Uranium and nuclear weapon supplies they have and whether or not they have nuclear weapons or not. Iran may already have nuclear weapons and a lot of Uranium to make weapons and has the potential to start a nuclear war.

Here is another picture of a map of Iran. This map is labeled with Iran’s nuclear mine in Saghand, Narigan, and Sarigan. Also, there is map shows where Iran would take their Uranium to have it used for nuclear weapons.

This is Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader. In Iran the supreme leader has the most political and religious power. Ali is against nuclear weapons for Iran because he thinks they would bring too much violence. However, he did not ban nuclear weapons from Iran, he kept the Uranium Supply to 20% for educational purposes.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the president of Iran and wants to have nuclear weapons for his country. Mahmoud says that “Iran has gone nuclear… nobody will be able to stop it… Cooperation with the Iranian Nation is the best solution for you” (Dareni). Iran has the capability to make nuclear weapons, but they chose not to. Iran is creating a sense of insecurity for the United States because it is another country to worry about with nuclear weapons.

Saghand consists of an open pit with a deep mine reached by two shafts of more than 335 meters (1,100 feet), according to the official IRNA news agency. The mine has a reported capacity of 132,000 tons of uranium ore per year
